Being VERY new to these forums, and not knowing many of the long time posters here, it did seem to me that it was someone who wanted to be involved in this project that wasn't invited in lol. He didn't make a lot of since with his ramblings thats for sure.
As for hate mail on Ady, what is wrong with people?!? It's just like the same old debate of Lucas's special edition to original versions. No one is coming to your houses & at gunpoint taking your DVD, BLU RAY or even old VHS copies of Star Wars & replacing them with his. All of us fans own the officially released versions of the films. I for one on occasion like mix it up and watch a different version then the last time I watched. If you like Star Wars the way it is on whatever format that suits you, DON'T WATCH SOMEONE ELSE'S EDIT!
I knew nothing of Adywan but had heard of this REVISITED DVD that was out there for years before I found a copy. So Im far from a worshiper. But I gotta say it was, for me, an amazing experience and I am greatly appreciative of all Ady & all who put so much time & love into this project. I also appreciate anyone here who helps or even points out things that may have been overlooked by Ady.
On a last note, (and slightly off topic, sorry) I am NOT a Lucas basher at all. He gave us something that totally changed our lives as kids in a wonderful and amazing way. I have no problems with his tweaks & addins either. That doesn't mean that they all were great in my eyes, but it's his right to edit & change as much as it is Ady's or anyone else who feels the need to make an edit. I find it sad that he's seemingly so upset by people who bashed the last 3 movies or the BLU RAY set that he is done with considering more SW movies. The prequels had so much to live up to that it was easy for people to be offended by certain things. But a new series, with Mark Hamill as Luke in a "ANH OBIWAN" kinda role would be heavenly!
