I'd say no. from what we hear in the OT, few people seem to believe the Jedi/Sith were ever real to begin with. Like Han says "...I've never seen anything to make me believe in one all powerful force." Which makes no sense when you take the prequels into account. Han would have been 5 years old when this galaxy wide Clone War broke out and Jedi seemed to be everywhere.

I think that says more about Han's character than anything, he's a practical man, and only believes in things that he can see and feel, he's obviously aware of the 'all powerful force' but doesn't believe in it, and with the Jedi all but wiped out and discredited 20 years beforehand, he's unlikely to have ever witnessed somebody using the Force before.

Lets not forget the Jedi were Peace-keepers and not likely to be using their powers unless they had to.
