I actually really like TheOdo's Idea aswell, I just think it is a massive workload, and there is an awful lot of changes to consider more than you might even think... That is why I have my opinion that I do and it's no disrespect to his modified Idea of corusant... I already thought about corusant before and there is just too many Audio dubs and new scenes with main characters so what ever I am not going to involve myself in the corusant idea any further basically I am not interested and do not care for the PT at all they were all pretty crap IMO and to go to so much work in order to make ROTJ fit more with the PT is not an option for me.
I voted against having Bobba Fett flying out the sarlac pitt... It was never in my final suggestion, I waa still pondering what to do at that point the video of the rough cut I did is my suggestion which is:
1. Bobba shoots lukes Hand
2. Fly to the opposite sail barge (remove Han or even over to the right)
3. Bobba Get's decapitated
4. Fall in the sarlac
And the Video is there to back up my Idea....
I ditched the Idea of flying out because it was not easy to do and I found a better way simple as that. So perhaps you need to amend the vote on this as It was just ponderings I had not looked into it properly at that point.
I know you are not putting my ideas down, I'm not putting anyone elses down either... I simply trying to get your structure that you are proposing to work in a fluid way.... If I felt the structure did not need it I would not bother trying to fill the gaps or holes.
1. Currently you have an un-star wars like opening in your script and trying to introduce plot also
2. Padding out Vader going to DSII to allow more transition time for Luke whilst trying to introduce plot
3. Lukes transition whilst trying to introduce a bit more plot
4. Fix Bobba
I am trying to make everything focus towrds Luke Vs Vader and the Alliance vs the impending Doom of the Death star... I could use some help developing my ideas, if anyone would care to... I really hope somone can give me some inspiration like you said Darth_Ender flipping a star destroyer is perhaps a bit Obvious but every OT film opens with a star destroyer anyway and whats the big deal if it's another tantive it's alot more extremist blowing up your frigate like a suicide bomber than wait to be captured, who's to say Leia did not organise this ship for the Bothans? I was trying to show the opression and desperation in Galxy this way and kill "many bothans" but nobody has tried to help me develop this or suggest anything else and at the momment I cannot develop it any further So either people do not like it, or cannot be bothered to think about it. It does not bother me though I'll pat myself on the back.
So when the vote is finalised if the Graphics team does not agree with the vote, and they refuse to work on possible ideas what do we do then? What if 2 ideas conflict? What if people who voted for somthing clear off and stop participating but the direction stands and others still in are opposed against it? Collabrative fan-editing may have it's flaws and many people on here push their ideas without commenting on others or trying to help others.
I think Theodo done a good job of defending his idea for sure but it needs to be answered in real terms not explained to me. I get the explaination
