If Lando dies on-screen, and the Falcon is engulfed in flames, I will cry bitter tears. That's to traumatic for this film...for ANY FILM.
And also, the only thing about the revised script that reallly bugged me: starting on Dagobah.
Now don't get me wrong, Dagobah taking place before Tatooine is a good idea. But to START the film? I always liked the motif of each film starting with a Star Destroyer flying overhead. But beyond that motif, starting the film on the DS II serves as to alert the audience of the danger the Empire poses in the film. In ANH the beginning established their main goal: finding the Death Star plans. In Empire Strikes Back, it established their main goal: finding Luke Skywalker. That being the case, I feel like ROTJ needs to follow suit.
So I propose this: Death Star opening, then Dagobah, then Tatooine.
Anyone agree with what I'm saying here, or not?
