Wow, thank God no one was hurt!

Fuck, man, I'd heard a blurb about it on the radio, but I had no idea of the particulars.

The cantaloupe-sized cannonball....tore through a cinder-block wall...flew some 700 yards east...bounced in front of a home... ripped through the front door, raced up the stairs and blasted through a bedroom...exited the house...crossed six-lane Tassajara Road, took out several tiles from the roof of a home on Bellevue Circle and finally slammed into the Gill family's beige Toyota Sienna minivan in a driveway.

 How many deaths or injuries were miraculously dodged? That's crazy.

Woke up this morning only to find that there's no milk in the house. The only thing I had in my cupboard that I could put on my cereal was a bottle of whiskey. It's a good thing I don't need to be in uni today.

I would've gladly given you several milk cartons in exchange for some of that sweet sweet booze. I've been sober for much too long and I need it baaaadly.

FOR THOSE WHO MAY WANT AN UPDATE...

 

I'M COMPLETELY DONE WITH SURGERIES.  THERE WAS A CHANCE THAT I WOULD NEED ANOTHER, BUT ALL TEST CAME OUT FAR BETTER THAN EVEN THE DOCTORS HAD HOPED!  I HAVE 3-6 MONTHS OF GETTING INTO FIGHTING SHAPE.  I'M STILL FEELING WEAK AND TIRED ALL OF THE TIME, BUT I'LL TAKE THAT OVER THE ALTERNATIVE.

 

THE SURPRISE TRIP TO SAN FRANCISCO TOOK A LOT OUT OF ME, BUT IT ALSO HELPED A LOT.  I NEEDED SOME TIME AWAY, AND I GOT A LOT OF EXERCISE, TOO.  THE PEOPLE IN SAN FRANCISCO WHO DON'T DRIVE OR USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION HAVE TO BE THE FITIST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD AS IT SEEMS LIKE NO MATTER WHICH DIRECTION YOU GO YOU ARE ALWAYS WALKING UPHILL.
