Travel infrastructure.

Power generation.

National Health.

Education.

Pensions.

The emergency services.

National security (purely defense).

Urban planning.

Fiscal policy.

National agricultural policy.

Should not be left to the whims of the private sector.

Everything else (including franchises to run trains on the nationalised rails etc) can be provided by the private sector (as long as any holes in the networks are filled by state subsidised services).

Government should be bound by tight laws preventing tax payers money being diverted away from their national obligations.

Local Government should be the prime outlet for the supply public services.

I'd also get the us the hell out of the EU and make stronger alliances with the Scandinavian and Commonwealth nations with greater emphasis on national self reliance and a disentanglement from global economics.

That's me I can't speak for anyone else but as no mainstream party in the UK is offering that I doubt if I shall get anywhere with a shopping list like that.
