I'm on his ignore list. I noticed it a year or so ago. I sent him a PM and asked why. He responded that he had ignored everyone who posted in Adywan's ESB thread, except for Adywan, so that he could just see Adywan's posts.
However, since Adywan is also ignored, this makes no sense.

And this newest revelation is very interesing. My theory is he started out by ignoring everyone in the Revisited thread except adywan, like he said. Then adywan pissed him off over the whole DTS/Dolby thing so he ignored adywan too. Then he realized he had become a minor off-topic celebrity, and decided he had to keep up his end of the bargain if he wanted to remain relevant...thus the extra ignore adds for people like walkingdork.
It's just cause he wants to see the forum always empty, if it can't be full of people who agree with him, so when new posters come about, he promptly ignores them. If there were tumbleweeds on the board he'd ignore those, too.
I personally don't want any explanation. It's far more fun when there is no known answer. We can then just suppose that the guy is completely nuts and laugh at his bizarre ways.
