@perkyporker: What problems are you having upgrading the TRV-16G? Does it have the terrible degrading pinch rollers like the 16-CL?

As the TRV-16G comes, it is only capable of capturing video tape quality. An upgrade will allow it to capture at dvd quality.

I haven't done an inspection of the unit since I am sending it in for an upgrade. The thing looks like it has never been used.

Right now, I'm just saving up for the upgrade and trying to decide who to send it to.
