It could be argued that some of these 'inconsistencies' add realism.

As in the real world, damaged vent covers sometimes wouldn't get fixed and lightbulbs (or whatever they use on Bespin) wouldn't get immediately changed.

One of the reasons the PT looks so plastic is because it lacks little details like that which may have been accidental but add to the flavour of the piece.

But there is no harm in pointing them out so if Ady does want to screw a bulb in there he knows where to set up his ladder (so to speak).

For what its worth I actually don't think any of those vents need to be fixed. My comment was more of a response to muddyknees' general statement about telling a story vs. fixing things in the background (which was a joke? I'm sorry, I guess I need to pay more attention).
