Dude, you know theres a story being told during this film right? Its right in the foreground, more or less right in front of all those tiny little lights in the background. If you squint real hard you can just make it out...

I might be mistaken but I'm pretty sure that ESBR is essentially ESB with updated visuals. Fixing these inconsistencies is kind of the point.

Seems some folks missed the post in which I mentioned that I was being flippant.......and as someone working with Ady on ESB:R I'm guessing the details mean a little something to myself as well. It was just a joke people. Deal with it.

For me, comedy is at its best when there are multiple layers to the joke in question where you have to dig through the deeper meangingfuls to get at the glorious squishy centre underneath ...

Although of course, you kinda have to realise that there may actually be a joke in there from the start, or at the very least try to take in anything that you see, hear or read with a warped sense of humour ... although the best laughs usually come from something unintentional, or when its intentions are hidden as in this case.

(On a personal note, I hate Seinfeld, since all he does is demand that you automatically laugh at all his silver-platter deliveries without you even having to work for it, aka "lazy mirth" ... well, enough about me, and apologies if I offended anyone there, but still ... :) ).

Anyway ...

the first 10 pics had presented a good argument for the validity of cleaning up the poor mattes and missing light bulbs etc

by the 15th pic my brain was now tuning into the background rather than the actual story (just like any good Zucker film ala Naked Gun)

by the 25th pic I was afraid that this guy has an abnormally high OCD

by the 30th pic I figured that my own desire for the pursuit of perfection pales in comparison to this guy (hehe, I was actually going to make this comment BEFORE I mentioned the OCD above)

by the 35th pic I just succumbed to the realisation that this guy just has WAAAYYY too much time on his hands ... either that, or he subscribes to the "Sam Raimi" style of story-telling where eventually it's all so over-the-top that it actually creates its own wicked vein of humour within ... check out Evil Dead to know what I mean here

I'm sure we all got the joke by the end (as mk2k had figured out, I think *grin*).  But it's lucky you didn't stop at the 30th pic, else we may have thought you were being totally serious here! ... (or is he?)
