No offense, but that setting not only makes the movie too much yellow, it also makes it even more dark.

And Chewtobacca: On avisynth wiki it says:

The second one (Rec.709) should be used when your source is DVD or HDTV:
ConvertToRGB(clip, matrix="rec709")

So it's not about output but input it seems.
