I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but they don't exist.

Highest quality versions of those deleted scenes then? I can't find them anywhere.
Buy the DVD.

Most of the cut scenes are useless. The only one that I felt actually needed to be in was the scene where Qui-Gon hacks the probe droid in half.... THIS explains why Ani and Qui-Gon are running randomly in the desert like they are running from someone. No idea why LucasTard Ltd. decided to remove that.

That was the one I wanted. And MAYBE the waterfall scene, but probably not.

Alright, alright, calm down. I'll buy it. :p
Here is the rough cut of the Pod Race. IMO it's the best edit I've ever made, but I'm an egomaniac. :P
Anywho, it's really rough, and the sound needs a lot of tweaking. But you get the basic idea. Pod Race with OT music, and no tom-foolery from poorly CGI'd characters.
Any criticism/comments would be GREATLY appreciated.
I have to admit at first I though; "Ugh, another Pod Race edit." However, the new music really made it stronger for me. Gave it some much needed emotion.
However, there are some criticisms, one is subjective, but the other is technical.
PLEASE remove all sand people and Jawas from the race. I HATE that Lucas felt that every creature that was featured on tattooine in ANH had to have cute little comedic cameos in this movies. It's lame, and it lessens in the impact when you eventually get to them in Ep. 4.
My other criticism is something I feel is beyond subjective and needs to be fixed. You need to work on audio levels. KEEP THE MUSIC PLEASE... But the levels on both sides were back and forth. Sometimes I though TPM's levels were to loud, and then sometimes I couldn't hear dialogue because of the new music. Just food for thought.
All that aside, I really like it, and I think it can work very well! You did an amazing job of timing the music cues to the action.

Oh trust me, the audio is NOT in any way final. This is just to give you a basic outline as to what I PLAN on doing with this scene.
As for the Jawas and Tuskens....there isn't any reason not to have them. I'm making this as if there wasn't an OT before, as if this was the very first Star Wars film. So you see Tuskens and Jawas, they aren't being "shoehorned" in. They're just a bunch of random alien races, like the rest of Mos Espa's inhabitants. It isn't until AOTC and ANH that either of them play any major role.
Plus it would COMPLETELY mess up the music synchronization, and the flow of the scene in general.
The first trailer for Star Wars Definitive, done in the style of the original 1977 Star Wars trailer. Any comments/criticism would be appreciated :)

Well, they don't seem shoehorned in ep. 1, but then they WILL feel that way in the far more important ANH. Just my opinion though.

I respect the idea, but did you do that crazy saturation on purpose? And I think it would have been interesting if you had spliced Ep. 1 footage in same place they spliced in ANH footage for that trailer. I do like the idea though.

Yes, the saturation was on purpose. The actual edit looks just like the Blu-Ray. :) And nice idea, I might try that.
Also, just a little notice to any who may be following this edit: I've been editing both AOTC and TPM at the same time, and have found that AOTC has been coming along a LOT quicker then TPM has. Regardless, I'm just wondering, would anyone like to see any clips from my edit of AOTC as well?

Nobody likes clips here...... (Sarcasm included!) ;)

All righty, well later today I'll put one or two up then!
Dooku vs Anakin and Obi-Wan. I personally think the Xizor music works perfectly here, but I'd be interested to hear any of your thoughts if you think Dooku needs a different theme.

And I thought the colors in the 3D trailer were messed up...

Ha!
Just some fun with my editing software. Thought you guys might enjoy it.
Question: I did some color correction to this clip. Is it noticeable, and if so is it better or worse then before?
I'm torn. On one hand, this scene works perfectly with the music. On the other hand, it works fine without the music. Thoughts?
I'd say it works better without. That music is for a scene with a much greater emotional impact. Not that Qui Gon's death is bad for it, but this is the end of one movie, not three.

I mostly agree with what you're saying. I'll probably save this music for the Anakin vs Dooku fight in Ep. III. However, a small part of me feels that Obi-Wan's "rage moment" needs more impact, so the music may make it into at least one version of my edit.
