Yeah, that was truly frightening. I definitely think I was too young to have seen the movie at that time- clearly my Mother should have paid more attention to the "R" rating! (BTW-Is it true that the director deliberately undersaturated the colors for the DVD release?)
I also saw "Magic" w/Anthony Hopkins around the same time- another film that I probably shouldn't have seen. :-P
As far as the X9 goes- it would definitely be great for films that have otherwise-unreleased versions on LD, but wasn't it proven in the X0 thread that SW-on-LD sucks compared to the Gout? It was a while ago, but I remember some pretty disappointing-looking clips.
