Now when will George make parts 7,8&9 and bring her back to the series????
Hey look, a bear!

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.
and now shes 55:

Wikipedia says she's 55, which makes more sense because I was 17 in 1977, and there is NO way she was 16 when SW came out.

What’s the internal temperature of a TaunTaun? Luke warm.
Doh! What's the matter with me...

Don't feel bad, took me a while to understand as well...
And this is why you don't resurrect old threads!!!

55!? She looks more like 65! It's obvious she hasn't aged well, but 55!?
Oooooo ...

I thought that, too. But she's dropped 50 pounds recently, and is look pretty damn good for her age in this pic

“Yes, it speaks of the trinity; casting light at the sun with its wandering eye”
Harrison Ford stole her ability to age well.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Hard to believe Princess Leia/Carrie Fisher is really 50... feels like she should be forever young. Well, happy belated 50th birthday to her! May she be here for another 50!
Amazing to see them now compared to seeing them in the movies. Carrie Fisher, you could hardly recognize her now. She looks at least 60 now though. And plays Peter's boss in Family Guy. Better then nothing. Well, maybe better then Mark Hamill playing Joker in the Batman Cartoons.
Except Batman rules and Family Guy drools.
Carrie is a best selling author, and she looked great in her "Wishful Drinking" show I saw on DVD recently.
And voice acting in cartoons pays better than you think. Mark's been doing it long before ever he picked up a lightsaber.
Where were you in '77?

i got awhile. Like 34 yrs. So i don't need to worry...yet.
Yes, Frink can empathize. When he was 55, he didn't look even that good. But that was sooooo long ago...
this thread is more fun to respond to..
