Geez what a tool.  Its so simple, all we want is the OUT given the same a proper clarity and sound treatment as, unlike the half-assed efforts put into the SE's and blurays

Fixed that for ya. ^_^

watch this http://www.starwars.com/watch/episode_6_into_the_trap.html

dose anyone notice that they added more tie fighters and tie boomers at  1:04 - 1:06 in this video.

One day we will have properly restored versions of the Original Unaltered Trilogy (OUT); or 1977, 1980, 1983 Theatrical released versions (Like 4K77,4K80 and 4K83); including Prequels. So that future generations can enjoy these historic films that changed cinema forever.

You are seeing only what you want to see. The ships are the same.

Another nail in the coffin.

"Physical media was also up for the first time in a while thanks to the pair of releases”

Well if its helping to save Physical media than I can forgive it.

Downloading is still a pane , I do not want to have to wait 6houers to download a 2 hour movie and then have the Download stop at 99% and have already pad my money and have no way to get it back or get a new copy.

DVD and blu ray I can go to a store get the movie go home and if it is defective I take it back a exchange it.

As so with Downloading you have to keep all you movies on a big hard drive and if it brakes you lose all you movies.

Then there is streaming video but what it your internet if out you have nothing to do.

Alss streaming video will have buffering. And they may even charge you ever time you watch

The same movie again. And with GL and Star Wars it will not be the same movie. Because GL will change it ever month and you will not have a :Physical copy that he can’t change.

It's interesting they didn't do the "digital copy" stuff with this release.

I have to maniacally laugh every time I read one of these articles predicting the death of physical media as we know it.

And if there's any annoying, meaningless, technological buzzword I've grown to despise in the past year, it's "the cloud"! ;)

Or read a book...

And physical media or no physical media, it's just another nail in the OOT's coffin.

That article is ridiculous. With bandwidth caps getting more and more popular with many ISPs, I have to laugh every time I hear somebody say that discs are going to be replaced with "digital delivery". And what about extras? Am I  the only one that enjoys extras any more like commentaries and deleted scenes? I'm pretty sure I'm not. And what happens when the server pulls a particular movie off its list for whatever reason? Then I guess you can never see that movie again I guess. No thanks - I'll keep my discs thank you very much.

And don't forget about quality. I have a 51" plasma and even my cable signal looks like crap because of awful compression artifacts. They hook us on HD and then want us to settle for highly-compressed downloads through sites like Netflix? Blu-ray wins in this department hands-down, plus they are very resistant to scratches so they will be in your collection for a long long time.

Actually most of their predictions in that article seems ridiculous to me.

And I agree, I absolutely hate the term "cloud". It annoys me as much as the term "green" does.

Why has no one come here in the past 6 days?

Should be updated to the well known saying.....'Hey, it's Star Wars on Blu-ray!'

The set has been out for a month. Most people who wanted to see them have done so already. All the brand new pointless changes have been documented.

Unless someone finds an easter egg of a slave Leia wardrobe malfunction or something, there's not much new to talk about. ;)

I don't know if the review is any good as I stopped reading after this paragraph:

Fuck you. Fuck your rage. Fuck your disappointment. Fuck your damning with faint praise. Fuck your fake apathy. Fuck your condescension. Fuck your raped childhood. Fuck your cancelled pre-orders. Fuck your non-existent boycott. Fuck your petitions. Fuck your blind optimism. Fuck your faith. Fuck your denial. Fuck your obsessive compulsion. Fuck your guilty purchase. Fuck your non-anamorphic laserdiscs. Fuck Red Letter Media.  Fuck Patton Oswalt. Fuck Brian Posehn. Fuck Seth McFarlane. Fuck Seth Green. Fuck Kevin Smith. Fuck Ernest Cline. Fuck Kevin Rubio. Fuck Joe Nussbaum. Fuck Alexandre Philippe. Fuck Tony Pacitti. Fuck Timyodie. Fuck Charles Ross. Fuck Ghyslain Raza. Fuck Timothy Zahn. Fuck Splinter of the Mind’s Eye. Fuck The New Jedi Order. Fuck Caravan of Courage. Fuck Battle For Endor. Fuck Droids. Fuck the Holiday Special. Fuck Beneath The Dome. Fuck TheForce.net. Fuck the Ain’t It Cool Talkbacks. Fuck the 501st Legion. Fuck the Smithsonian. Fuck Star Tours. Fuck Wizards of the Coast. Fuck Kenner. Fuck Hasbro. Fuck Sideshow Collectables. Fuck Galaxies, Rogue Squadron, Rebel Assault, The Old Republic, Knights of the Old Republic, The Force Unleashed, Power Battles,  Racer, Racer Revenge, Racer Arcade, Trilogy Arcade, Super, Lego, Obi-Wan, Republic Commando, Jedi Outcast, Shadows of the Empire, Dark Forces, Jedi Academy, Empire At War, XWing vs Tie Fighter, Battle for Naboo, Demolition, Teras Kasi, Starfighter, Jedi Starfighter, and Bombad Racing. Fuck Soul Calibur IV. Fuck the Razzies. Fuck Jim Ward. Fuck the next generation of biased Star Wars fans, fuck their confused, disappointed parents, fuck their doomed, compulsory original trilogy screening, and double fuck not letting them see the prequels.

Since they're like poetry, what with the rhyming and all, I find that I only need to watch three out of the six films.

That's pretty much Chud's style it seems. Did any of these people ever take journalism classes?
