Has anyone else noticed how prevalent the "slow zoom" is in the prequels? I think it's the only shot in Lucas' repertoire as a director, other than the over-the-shoulder seated dialogue.

A few examples:

- Qui-Gon at dinner table

- Obi-Wan and Jango talking

- Padme on ground unconscious on Mustafar

There are probably hundreds of shots like this where the camera slowly zooms in on something. Maybe I'm just a hater and don't understand Lucas' brilliance as a director.
