SW fans wouldn't be seen as immature, whiny fanboys f they didn't use the "rape" exaggeration.

Within the realm of film enjoyment, the SW community has a reason to be disgusted with Lucas and his tampering, greed, and dishonesty. Why people talk about rape, I'm not sure. They are correlating the treatment of movies to a very serious, disgusting, awful act. I understand the frustration but don't agree with the expression of that frustration.

However, most SW fans seem to be rational and don't view this as anything outside of the film scope. The vocal minority can often stand out most, though.

My life is not affected by SW anymore. I cherish the UOT memories and am glad to have it in various forms (VHS, dvd, laserdis, fan preservations, etc.). I'm as disappointed as anyone in Lucas, but I gave up on him a long time ago and have held the lowest expectations since.

If we ever really get the UOT restored, great. If not, that's fine.

Please, stop the rape talk.
