Conspiracy: The Trial of the Chicago 8
A 1987 historical docudrama made by HBO, telling the true story of the trial of 8 protest leaders of the 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago. Lots of big name stars, and the script is based on the actual court records. The real life defendants are shown commenting about the trial via short clips (done in 1986/87) that are injected a various points into the film. This is another film that is very hard to find, and that should be shown in schools as a requirement.
The hit song "Chicago (we can change the world)" by Graham Nash is based on events surrounding this trial.
