Bottom series one, probably the best comedy the BBC ever made.

Doctor Who. Both Classic and Current.
The IT Crowd.
Luke threw twice…maybe.

A friend of mine from India really loves it.
I wouldn't call it best by any means but it's funny if you like that sort of extreme broad physical comedy.
It's an extension of what Ade and Rik had been doing and continued to do for most of their career.
The Dangerous Brothers is basically the same routine as is the Comic Strip Presents Mr Jolly Lives Next Door neither of which began on the Beeb.
Well I've been pushing through about three different shows on a regular basis on Netflix for a while now. I watch an episode of each a night.
Lost - A lot better than what I thought it would be and a lot more coherent than it was made out to be as well. Though still need to see how it ends as that apparently is where the most complaints begin.
24 - Didn't really know anything about it other than it takes place in real time. Also that Jack Bauer was supposed to be the new Chuck Norris because he's supposed to have some crazy body count by the end of each season. That hasn't panned out at all. But it's an entertaining show, I like it.
The X-Files - I jumped into the show kind of late when it originally aired so it's been nice starting from the beginning. Good stuff.
I've made pretty good progress in these three but still have a long way to go. Except for Lost, that's almost over and I'm kind of sad about that.
I miss 24. Jack'll get the count up as the seasons get on.Tobar said:

The Dangerous Brothers is one of my favourite Rik/Ade shows ever, its just a pity it lasted for such a short time.Mr Jolly Lives Next Door is the best thing The Comic Strip ever done, Bad News being second ofcourse.
Lost in Space, you neanderthal ninnies.
Episode 11 of Cowboy Bebop.
This was like watching an homage to the Alien films. Plus, I'm beginning to like Ed a little more than I did initially.
Just started watching "Dexter" for the first time. Started season one last night.

I've never taken this much Kirk in one hit.
His voice... penetrating my brain, can't... stop... thinkinginKirkspeak it's... ridiculous.

Breaking Bad season 4 finale.
4 balls [out of 4] this show just keeps getting better and better.

Fuck Balls.
Since they're like poetry, what with the rhyming and all, I find that I only need to watch three out of the six films.
War Of The Worlds, the t.v. show based on the original movie, its so bad its unmissable.Anyone else remember this show?.
Finally got around to watching the first episode of Penn & Teller: Tell a Lie. :( Wow, extremely boring. Guess some people would find it entertaining, I just find it mind numbing. Really going to miss Bullshit!

I found the first few Bullshit!s entertaining (anything that encourages skepticism is alright by me) but then I noticed a pattern to their shows of bringing out the worst advocates possible of things they don't agree with which they shouted down or demonstrated to be ridiculous and the most emotionally charged advocate for things they did agree with which they made out to be authorities on the subject.
This may be some sort of ironic comment on their part (using the same sort of 'propaganda programming' techniques that the 'bad guys' use as an audience litmus test) and it's in line with the guys who made Rebo And Zooty 'deliberately' not funny to comment on how not all comedy translates well over time.
But I didn't buy it myself.

This always annoyed me too. They did that because it was more entertaining to show us nutters and make fun of them, rather than have straight serious discussion. They frequently admitted to this on the show, which makes it forgivable to me. And they usually had some pretty nutty people on the side of the argument they were supporting as well. The show was entertaining, and while it was "as biased as fuck" as Penn freely described the show on the show, it provoked thought, which was essentially the whole point. Thought provoking entertainment in half-hour long snippets? I'll take that over anything else on TV any day. I am sorry it is gone.
I suppose I can appreciate what they are trying to do with this new show, but it feels too much like all the other dime-a-dozen crap that passes for educational television for the masses with a slight twist meant to, once again, provoke free thinking. Unfortunately, it is boring as crap, and the figure out the lie bit just isn't enough of a twist to set it apart from the other mindless "edutainment" that floods educational channels.
The Walking Dead Season Premiere
The actors seem to have gotten much better. That was my only problem with season one. That and the awful CGI explosion. I never thought we'd get a GOOD episodic zombie series. It's a dream come true.
Also, Chris Hardwick of the Nerdist Podcast hosting the aftershow "The Talking Dead" Haven't watched it yet but I expect it to be nothing less than awesome.
The only thing that would make this better is a zombie Gustavo Fring.
Can't wait to watch the new episode of The Walking Dead. I was thoroughly impressed with season one. Zombie movies seem to have stopped taking themselves seriously long ago, so it was really nice to see a series that hits the subject matter from a serious angle. Maybe it did get a bit too heavy handed in the drama department at times... but I felt it all worked well enough.
Just started watching Breaking Bad earlier this evening, already on episode 3. I kind of like it.
Pilot episode of Louie.
Meh.
I was really disappointed given some of the great things I've heard about this show. I never found his standup that funny, so it was very annoying to have to sit through six or eight minutes of run-of-the-mill standup as part of the show. As for the rest, there were a few chuckles but otherwise I was pretty bored.
I'm going to give it one or two more episodes, but I'm not encouraged.

Your opinion is wrong. ;(
Then hooray for being wrong and saving time! :p
