My take on anything from digitalbits or aintitcool is that it's a wonderful advertisement for whichever DVD mentioned (right or wrong) . This is THE most anticipated DVD release ever. Period. People are getting excited and are sparking these fires of news bits and supposed changes. Personally, you cannot change the Sebatian Shaw scenes unless you do both. Lucas being a continuity freak has to know this. The nonsense about a jedi's soul just doesn't sound right (and if it is, I'll buy four more bootleg DVD sets).

Even though the digitalbits.com has the info, Lucasfilm hasn't said a thing. I know that the digitalbits is pretty reliable, but anyone here will agree with me...if there's a release they are shooting in the dark about in terms of news, it's this one. Lucasfilm is too busy restoring these classics to be meddling with stuff like that or confirming/debunking every rumor. The big set Lucas wants to do after Episode III will probably have all these changes (or variations of them). This release is for the public because we want it so bad. The SE's took about two years to make, and changes on the scale of the Hayden and Emperor thing were in them. The DVD's were announced in early 2004, so they couldn't have been working on them for too long before that. The time tables work in favor of the release being nearly unchanged. It's all speculation though until Lucasfilm says a word. I could be completely off my rocker and they've done even more than people think. If anyone has a time machine I'd use it because that's the only way we could ever know for sure hehe

Anyway, enough rambling on my part, I anxiously awat the 9/21 release date and finding out 100% for sure what was changed (or a nice press release from Lucasfilm in a few weeks going over the changes...that'd let me know how guilty I'd feel when buying the set).
