I feel it is my duty as a philly area native to inform that Rocky is a great movie. It is the story of a man wishing to prove to himself and others that he is just not another bum from the street, not just another nobody. It is the Ultimate underdog story. He showed even though he didn't win the fight he was still a winner. It is also a romance story between Rocky and Adrian. It is bar none the best boxing movie ever made. If you ask me Stalone gave the performance of his career(I'll agree that is not saying much for Stalone is not a great actor). It has a great score as well. It's Oscar is definitely well deserved. comparing Titanic to Rocky is like comparing a hamburger to Prime Rib. Say what you will about the sequels(they stink), but the first one is a classic. And if you insult it again, I may just have do more to you than slap you with a fish.
