Quote1. That is a conscience/subconscience sign to them that you are capable of providing for them.

No I am convinced of this. Women have a belief that men are pigs.
1. They expect men to pay for everything on a date.
2. They say Women and children in a disaster. What the hell makes a womens life more valuble then a mans
3. More women channels then mens
4. Women having more rights to the kids in a divorce
5. 80% of all income is made by men. 80% of income is spent by women
6. In most countries, a quota law ensures that - in case of equal qualifications - a female applicant has to get the job if more than 50% of the employees are male. No such law is in place for men.
7. Women have fought their way into every men’s club and organisation, and are now able to enforce their membership by law. Would you dare demanding access to a women’s group?
8. A lot of venues organise ‘ladies’ nights’ - similar events for gentlemen would be illegal
If you cannot pay for a lousy dinner, what makes you think you can take care of credit card bills or mortage payments?
2. Children still have their lives to live. Women...gee, I don't know, maybe it has to do with reproduction.
3. I cannot explain this. I think ricarleite has the best explanation.
4. Wouldn't know.
5. In the traditional western family unit, that's how it is. The man provides, the woman prepares.
6. I'm against quotas of any kind. If you're qualified for the job, you should get the job.
7. Not Augusta!!
8. I think this is best compared to the Black History Month discussion we had a few weeks ago. "Gentlemans' Nights" aren't done probably because the venues have that most of the time (unless I'm misinterpretting the kind of "ladies night" you mean.
I wanted to add something. I probably shouldn't, but I think I'd like to see what kind of reaction I can get from it.
Over the weekend, I saw this headline:
Nicole's looking for love
Upon further investigation of the article, it says that Nicole Kidman is "desperately looking for a fella" and that "I’m a 37-year-old with two kids. Men aren't beating a path to my door."
I don't get it. Jimbo, if men are like you think they are, why exactly is she having this trouble? She's beautiful and, to put it bluntly, she's loaded.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't dream a little after reading the article.
