Wait...you didn't cheer for your own name?  I guess you guys have done more splitscreening than I realized.

Also, aren't you guys supposed to give a X out of Y Z's rating?

ME TOO!

But not with you. I did cheer when I saw your name in the credits. I pointed it out to my wife.

I didn't show my credit to my wife.  I don't think she would have been that impressed.  :(  So I'm glad somebody's hot/geek wife saw it.  ")

It's a workprint!  And I gave a much more thorough review in the other thread.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

Hey, I'm not the one who posted in the "Last movie seen" thread instead of the "Last workprint seen" thread. :p

After the 3rd time I saw my screenname, I was tired of cheering. ;-)

The People vs. George Lucas

I enjoyed it.  It had Jay in it, how could it not be great?

"Endless Night"

I adore Hailey Mills, but the whole thing was a little too late-60s for my tastes. Unfair I know.

"The Spook That Sat By The Door"

9 Molotov Cocktails out of 10

This was a powerful civil rights message movie from the early 1970s.

This film was at one time banned out of fear that its content would further spark riots and widen the black civil rights revolution. It's a film of its time in the production area (very low budget T.V. show look), but its core message of "freedom" and how to fight the establishment is still as relevant as ever.

It's the story of how the CIA felt it had to recruit some African Americans to help them politicaly, but the agency had no intention to respect or embrace these new agents. One of the agents spends a number of years learning the tricks of the trade, then quits and returns to the slums to teach "his people" what he had learned in order to turn these tactics back on "The Man", and free the ghetto from racist oppression. The full film is on YouTube if anyone cares to see it.

Just watched the Star Trek trilogy (II-IV) for the first time in many years. I have to say I don't really agree with the odd/even number theory. I think I enjoyed The Search for Spock the most of the three :P

It! The Terror From Beyond Space (1958)

This has been on my watch list for quite a while now. Seeing as John Carpenter selected it as his second film after The Thing From Another World while guest programming for TCM, I decided it was as good a time as any to watch it. What a great film! It's all about space crew as they try to survive an attack from an alien stowaway. It also served as the inspiration for Alien. =P

"The Patriot"

I liked this one.  It had some good moments and some corny bits. It was nice to see a younger Heath Ledger, and Mel before he went nuts. Wish they would have had more fighting scenes.

Catching Hell - 10 (Foul)Balls out of 10

Since they're like poetry, what with the rhyming and all, I find that I only need to watch three out of the six films.

The People vs. George Lucas (2010)

Finally got to see this. Overall I thought it was a pretty decent documentary. I wish it had been more focused on the preservation movement but what it did cover was done well. It was also pretty cool to see this site in a film and I thought Jay did a great job.
