The franchises I get nerdy about are so obscure that not even most nerds know about them.
I'm taking a break from OT.com for awhile. This time, it has nothing to do with personal problems caused by my posting something stupid.
You see, I've been joining a lot of forums lately, and with OT.com in particular, trying to keep up with all of these posts (I have this completion thing where I have to be on top of all topics) is almost an unhealthy addiction. My time is better spent doing school, keeping my video-editing skills sharp, that sort of thing. So I'm taking a leave of absence, but I'll still come back occasionally, and not even try to catch up with all the posts, but just see in general what's up. I'll definitely come back to get the V3, once I have the GOUT. I may check out Adywan's SW:R and Frink's Ridiculous Edits, too.

I see what you mean. I'm only on three forums, (here, FE, and The Raven) so I don't really worry about it. Mainly because this is the only site of the three that I don't lurk in because I have nothing to say.
Did you make an "I'm Leaving" thread on the other sites? Not trying to sound rude, just curious.

Ha-ha, I had the exact same thought.
This is why I don't even try other forums. The fact that Frink can do 5% of every post ever around here and moderate FE blows my mind.

Moderating FE doesn't take too much time because things are fairly strict. Mostly all I do is move threads to the proper forum.
This loony bin would take a lot more time, I'm guessing.

It takes me all day to catch up on unread posts because I'm busy, and by then I have even more to read!
