Funny that the penciled reference is to a Paul Golding/Lucas USC film film that is unavailable.
In fact i have not been able to find the Emperor, or Anyone lived in a pretty how town, or Herbie either. Nor the full version of the desert tone poem.
Someone uploaded a very good quality version of filmaker on youtube.]
Freiheit, electronic labyrinth and a man and his car are all on DVD.
See if Lucas won't restore the oot there is very little reason for him to pay to restore the student films, which the master negatives are probably in USC's holdings anyway. I think Lucas has lower quality copies. See the bonus THX short on the directors cut DVD, that is pretty poor quality in comparison to other releases i have seen. The only positive thing the grain was not removed and the audio is the real mono track and not a fake 5.1 as on the short films dvd.
