Hey, folks, does anyone else think that trying to reason with this hamster may be a vain effort?

The picture seems pretty clear to me - he had enough energy to express his half-baked arguments on the blog, but now his brain is (at least for the time being) completely overwhelmed by the objections and challenges and all he's still capable of doing is stubbornly protect his little turf subjective security.

It's all lame defense mechanisms, no reasoning or rationality available.

Maybe he just should be given some distance, and in a few weeks his ego will overcome the disturbing prospect of his own subjective opinion possibly being somehow invalid, his brain will grow some more connections, and it'll get better.

There absolutely isn't any sense in expecting anything more from him now - he's currently on auto-pilot, and you'd have more chances to get into a sensible discussion in the Chat with God.
