No, no, that's not the point. Just because a few people on a message board haven't said they don't like it doesn't mean no one will like it. Youtube doesn't have a limit on how much video you can upload, so you should just leave it. Eventually someone will see it and like it!

And your English is fine. I did not know it was not your native language.

when i said if no one likes it, i wasn't taking about youtube.. i don't really care about youtube.. since i don't like youtube, i delete my videos if they are not useful..

I laugh in the face of danger. Then I hide until it goes away..

Yeah, it had nothing to do with language.  I just get tired of people deleting things because someone doesn't like it, or doesn't care, or some other strange reason.

I noticed that most of changes I mentioned on my site have actually been implemented by adywan :) Personally, I'm very relieved to see the Jabba scene gone completely, as well as the fixed arm on the floor, and the new Alderaan approach is awesome. That's just a few picks out of the many many things I adore about SW: Revisited.

What do you guys think of some of the other changes I mentioned that weren't implemented, like Obi-Wan saying, "I wanted you to have this..." instead of, "Your father wanted you to have this...", etc.?

The whole list can be found here:

We were playing with "I wanted you to have this" the other day! It is a possibility!

I saw it posted online a while ago, it was really nicely done to sound completely natural, plus Obi-Wan's face is turned away from the camera while he's talking there so it can really be done easily. I wish I could find the link though......

That's a great idea. Better than what I can up with, probably:

As Obi-Wan opens the box, he says (taken from a bit later), "Your father's lightsaber. Your uncle..". Then when Luke asks what it is, "It is the weapon of a Jedi Knight.."}

Also thought of a few small ESB changes. Obi-Wan could say that Yoda was A, not THE, Jedi who instructed him. Later his voice-over could be "Was I any different.." (removing "when you trained me.") And Yoda could say "For 800 years I trained Younglings."

The word 'Younglings" should be expunged from all films with Star Wars in the title.

Yeah, well, maybe, but it helps explain that Yoda trained Obi-Wan when he was a small boy, then Qui-Gon trained him after that.

Also, during the Vader/Obi-Wan duel, "Only a master of evil, Vader. You can't win, Anakin."

Yeah I also mentioned this one on the site, and it's IMO a minor change that fixes a large error.

I'm also for excluding any talk of "younglings".

Wouldn't that spoil the next episode's big reveal?

Remember PT:R is going to be a major reworking so hopefully the surprise in ESB:R is going to be maintained.

No.
This edits should be done for those who wouldnt mind throwing the prequels out from a bridge. There shouldnt be any changes made to the original trilogy to fix the Prequels (I dont even understand why Adywan wants to fix them, they are unecesary and unsalvable films).
So lets keep Yoda as Yoda, the absolute Jedi Teacher, the one that values more the spiritual ways of the force than running around with a lightsaber pushing things. I dont need Yoda being part of a "Jedi Order" with a rank, part of a official council with specific duties and the specific job of "Youngling Trainer". To me thats exactly like midichlorians. It giving technicality to something that should be magical, unexplained and spiritual.

To me, Yoda is a very spiritual Jedi that happened to be one of the few that survived.

Besides, the phrase "For 800 years I trained Younglings" is just silly for the moment he says it... If I was Luke I would say "Wh... What? Ben, did you just brought me to the Kindergarden Teacher?"

I agree, I wouldn't have Yoda using the term younglings.

It's an interesting idea and it would sorta connect things. But I think it fits into that category of messing with the OT (the superior trilogy) to fit the PT (inferior trilogy).

This. I hate that word and how it's taken over. Now there are no more children, just younglings.

Never was it said Yoda ONLY trained younglings. He probably trained all ages over that 800 years.

The suffix 'ling' means young or small so a Youngling is a "young young" or a "little little".

It's a daft as calling a woman a Femaletrix.

sorry for such a noob question, but I am trying to download Adywan's fanedit, the SE revisited.  I downloaded 5 or 6 of the .rar files from rapidshare but they came up corrupted when I tried to extract them.  Can anyone help me with this, what else can I do to get this version?

You have to download ALL of the RAR files first. Then you unpack the first one and it unpacks the whole thing for you. If you're using jdownloader it will do it for you when its done.

Righto. Pretty lame, but hey, at least that Filmation animation was top notch. Ahem.
