Like I said on Twitter, I had a radio show in college. It was only available to students on the wired network in dorms using RealPlayer or who happened to be in the snack bar. I don't think we were legally allowed to let it out any further.
So Friday nights from 8-midnight, I never got many listeners, if any at all. I could hardly blame them. Christian Pop Rock isn't the best thing to listen to. But I had some fun cohosts, and since no one listened, including the professors, there were times when we would go 20 minutes without playing a song. I wanted to have more of a talk show with some songs during the breaks, but they wanted more songs than talking.
A classmate of mine actually took his show seriously, had guests, bits, actual prep time. And you know what, he's been working in radio ever since. I decided it wasn't for me, but I'm really looking forward to being on the RotCast in November.
