I'm a gamer too, so HD has been the norm for me since 2005. I just can't imagine going without it for so long. I wouldn't be able to do like you are. Supposedly super-hd will arrive around 2020-2025.

That seems like a long wait even when I've been all HD for 6 years now.

It's not that I don't notice the difference. I do. I just don't see 1080p as that much of a leap forward.

HD television looks 1000x better that old crappy analog TV but when it comes to DVD I just don't see enough difference to go out and buy a BluRay player.

Everyone says if you sit really close to the screen, you can see the difference. But seeing how I never do that...
