Mverta, thank you for updating us. Best of luck. This appears to be a comprehensive restoration. I do look forward to following it on the Star Wars Legacy site. As much as I would love a copy of this, I do understand your reasons for keeping this private. If you having the only copy was the condition to getting access to these materials (i.e. film scans, software, etc.), that would make some sense, but, if ever those conditions change, please share.

At least if all else fails and Lucas has preserved no copy of the original version, your 4K version will still exist...

I do have two questions though:

Is this just for Star Wars or are you handling ESB and ROTJ as well?
Will you reveal what your source material us? Not of course exactly where and from whom you got it but just a basic description: i.e. a 4K telecine from a 70mm print, an 8K telecine from a 35mm print, a 2K telecine from a 16mm print, etc...
