Thanks for making these great documentaries!

I have an interview (from Norwegian TV) with the star of Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaption where he talks about what Steven had to say about their film, and shows the letter he got from Steven. It's probably not too relevant to this project, but I thought I would mention it just in case.

Does anyone have any of the Jim Steranko concept paintings in hi res?

I also really need the sword fight storyboards. They are in the LFL Archives book. I have the book in storage. You help would be very much appreciated.

Have the Dave Stevens storyboards ever been released?

Beyond that i am sure scans of the illustrated screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan with the other storyboards might be in order.

I don't have the book or a scanner so sadly i cannot help in that capacity.

Undeterred by the negativity from Sharkey (over at Raven boards) and 'another' individual on Twitter, I am continuing with Raiding. Many thanks to those who posted supportive comments and to those who contacted me directly offering their help and support. I really do appreciate it. For the most part this is a very giving community. A very kind gentleman came forward with scans of the Lucasfilm magazine.

So, I am around 90% complete. A good friend is currently doing some animation for me to include which will help flesh out a few things. I am still waiting to hear from Robert Watts but will be persisting with this one as I think he would be a great addition to the project. The Mangini and Muir interviews look to be next month and then I will be uploading the whole thing on youtube (after the QC team have had a look through it).

I very much looking forward to reading your reactions.

Me too, I'm sure I'm gonna love this. I'm willing to wait a little longer if it means you can get Robert Watts.

Is there enough material for a Temple of Doom one some time in the future, when you're ready to take on another project? Off the top of my head, I can think of the Nova "The Magic of Special Effects"/Horizon "How to Film the Impossible" documentary as something that could be incorporated. I just can't think of a snappy title....

Yes that's a big problem with the method of titling I have. Maybe I'll find enough material. Maybe not. I might move onto BTTF!

I'm a member on that board, but don't visit very often.  The mods are fine and so are a great many of the members.  However, there are too many people like the member who tried to derail the thread who, in my opinion, are given too much rope. 

To me, they over moderate in some aspects (avatars, signatures, and duplicate threads) and under moderate in others (trolls are given way too many chances).  There are really only about 5 people I ever engage in conversation there and like I said earlier, maybe once or twice a year these days.

There are lots of people over there who would be very supportive of your project.

I just found this thread and I am so indescribably excited to see what you come up with, Jamie! Your three SW docs are, IMHO, the finest Star Wars product anyone has put out in the last several years, and that includes the blurays. Don't let the bastards drag you down!

As usual, you've managed to dig up some great anecdotes for the commentary. Fascinating stuff, those 17 minutes had me thoroughly absorbed.

A couple of tips for the final version:
1. Take care with the volume levels, the original film music sounded too loud in some places when compared to some of the lower-quality audio sources used.
2. Run the text through a spell-checker!
