Stop motion of model humans is probably not going to look convincing.

It works (contextually) in the golden age of stop motion cinema because it's like with like (I imagine what is seen as ropey CGI now will be seen in a similar way by future generations).

One of the reasons why the current PT doesn't match the feel of the OUT is because of the miss-match between CGI elements and real filmed elements, it looks like someone has dropped a plastic animation of a character or creature into or over a filmed element.

Stop motion Luke in ESB is only seen from a distance for a few moments, yes it's obviously a model but it's possible to park that thought because it's a film of a particular period, the human character is obscured and that is probably the only way they could have got that shot.

Some of your suggestions include dialogue changes.

How do you propose to maintain consistency with the performances elsewhere in the films?

Would you re-dub all of Christopher Lee's lines so that the new lines matched the old for example?

I'm also not sure how many of the actions you describe assist the story.

They might be fun bits of action choreography but the problems with the PT as it exists aren't really down to a lack of choreographed action, but more down to a lack of story and character development.

I'd rather see some of those mute Jedi replaced with characters you could care about before they die than have more toy on toy action, personally.
