Being a bodyguard isn't necessarily good - you might be protecting bad people, who knows? As for the Clone Wars, there WAS no "side of good," since the Clone Troopers were developed with the sole intention of providing a dangerous, treasonous army for the Republic, and the opening crawl for Episode III says that "there are heroes on both sides."

Of course lame reasons like that are why I don't bother considering the prequel trilogy canon, but PT Anakin was not a good, selfless person. Now please stop taking this thread off-topic!
