I was going to say something similar to him, but in the end it was easier just to plonk him. I have no time to waste on people who are so thin-skinned that they get their pwecious widdle fee-fees hurt so easily.

Seriously, though, it seems that most people are pretty happy with the blu-rays from what I can tell, and not just because of the "SW on blu" thing. There's no doubt that the image is sharp and better than anything before, but some of us have been disappointed in the use of the Lowry transfers which had those color problems. It also appears that what people love most about the set is the new sound mix.

I wonder how much of an impact all the pre-order cancellations and boycotts had?

All we can hope for now is that the 3D conversions are abandoned and Lucas works on restoring the UOT for an eventual BD release.
