QuoteI posted this thought just a couple minutes ago elsewhere, and I think it applies here.

And that's why the whole political system in the United States must change as soon as possible, or it'll be lead to a nazi-esque facist regime (maybe it's already like that, and you haven't noticed). More than 2 sides of the same coin. More than 2 opinions that lead to the same conclusion. Don't vote to defeat an opinion, vote to make your own opinion to be heard. Don't vote to conquer, vote to heal. Get envolved in your local politics. Don't let the corporations choose the puppet-leaders for you, let your voice be heard! It's your country, not theirs.
What worries me most about the upcoming election is that people that vote for Kerry, won't be voting FOR Kerry, they'll be voting AGAINST Bush. I haven't seen any recent polls on the issue, but I'd wager that if a poll was done today that stipulated a difference between voting for Kerry and voting against Bush, Kerry would have 30%, anti-Bush would have 20%, pro-Bush would have 46% and Nader would have 4%.
Now, do I agree with you ricarleite, absolutely.
Will anything substantial happen to change it, I doubt it.
