Manhattan is my favorite Allen film. Great movie-bit creepy nowadays-but still great.

Horrible Bosses-a one joke pony that unfortunately never decides to stop telling the same joke.

Bridesmaids-what does this movie want to be, a drama or bad wedding comedy? It doesn't know, and frankly I stopped waiting for it to make up its mind.

The French Connection-a true classic and the big "gritty NY" movie. I haven't seen the new controversial Blu-ray transfer and frankly don't want to because of the nature of Friedkin's tinkering. This movie is supposed to look brown and crummy like a early 70's Deluxe print. And the remix has too many added sound effects. Anhew, a true classic that doesn't lose impact and truly Friedkin's masterpiece.

BTW does anybody know of any TFC release that has the original mono soundtrack? I think it's on the Blu as a crummy ac3.
