I've just downloaded the Despecialized DVD-5 versions and I'm wondering if there will be DVD cover art for those, maybe re-worked from the Blu-Ray art?
Still very curious about this!

I am gonna make DVD covers eventually I guess, but they're not a priority right now.
Coming soon!!!
In a vein similar to Harmy's restorations I have restored the film posters to the best of my abilities. They may not be 100% accurate, but they are very pleasing to the eye. I did my own take of the Definitive laser disc box set, though it is still quite different. I'm almost done with the discs, so they will be uploaded sometime in the next few days or so.
All art and images are pre 1997 material to make things more legit. The only images on the back that are not from Harmy's preservation are promotional images and what not.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Nice, EyeShot! I think Blu-Ray cases are the only way to go for me.

Okay! I think I'm done with the set, though I'm not sure which ROTJ I like better.

EyeShotFirst: looking forward to your creation including the "laserdisc" box ;-)
Thanks guys!!

If there was ever an official release of the original theatrical versions on bluray, I'd love them to come out in a package exactly like that! Outstanding! Like a mini version of the LD set (ahh memories!).

That's the greatest compliment I've ever gotten!!

EyeShotFirst, that box would be sweet. You have plans for actually making one? would love to know how.

Unfortunately I won't be able to any time soon. I need to get a new printer, since mine is pretty much useless.
I will include a template and a readme that will show how to make the box for those who want to do their own.

Those are amazing!!!!!
Thanks :-)
A stormtrooper feels off for a movie as deep and character-focused as Jedi.
This is a joke, right?
Not a joke. Look beyond Jabba and the Ewoks and it's a very character driven movie. We get deeper into the characters' complexes more than ever (Leia and Han after Luke's revelation, the entire Death Star confrontation and Luke's conversation with Vader on Endor...).
I could see Jedi being the deepest of all the films, actually. It's the apex of Luke's journey, where the most serious and important events are taking place.
Off topic, I know.
Anyone have any plans to make Blu-Ray covers for Adywan's Revisited DVD-9's?
Probably not; they're not high-definition.. Yet.
I know they're not in HD yet. Just thought I'd get Blu-Ray cases and covers made since I think they look nicer. No reason why the current Revisited can't sit in there as a placeholder for the eventual HD release. :)

These look fantastic! Can't wait until they are all uploaded so I can make my newly downloaded movies complete!

This is like the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

Also have to throw my .02 cents in on how awesome these are. Can't wait for the upload. Classic throwback artwork perfect for an unaltered version on Blu. They are gorgeous in the simplicity of how they used the original posters. ... Can't wait.... Hurry up ;-)
EyeShotFirst, those look really nice. I wanted my own DeEd covers to look quite modern and unique but I'm really glad there will be a classic look alternative. May I ask what do you mean that you restored the old posters? Aren't those posters available in high def? Anyway, I sent you a PM.

I'm also curious as to what you have planned for the reverse side?

It is true that they are available, but the colours aren't that great. The ESB is the best example of restoration because it has rich vibrant colours, and yoda isn't pasted on there.

They are pretty simple. When I have the discs done, I'll give a preview.
