I was going to ask my linguist friend to maybe do something similar, it'd be very interesting to have an actual language that matches up to the mouth movements. One of my favorite bonus features ever is the one on Star Trek 3 that goes through how Marc Okrand created Klingon using the gibberish from Star Trek 1 and actually dubbing over exisiting English dialog in 3...RoccondilRinon said:
Idea. *cue lightbulb*
I'm a linguist, and I've constructed artificial languages for stories before. If someone seriously wants to have a crack at this, I'd be happy to help out. It takes a little while to do, but it would give me an excuse to make another one. Of course, you'd have to be prepared to record everything in the new language from scratch.
Just an idea.
