Hey all, I'd like a MySpleen invite if possible. Many thanks!

Would anyone have any extra Spleen invites?

Thank you

Welcome to the 'request a MySpleen invite' thread.  Sigh.

I understand 112 pages are a lot to read, but is it too much to ask people to read the first post (the one that says PM Dark_Jedi for an invite)?

TBH I haven't grabbed these yet (just haven't gotten around to it), but with the wave of one-post wonders popping in just to grab an invite has me feeling uncomfortable about d/l'ing anything from MySpleen anymore.

Sort of defeats the point of a private tracker.  I think I'll wait to find it on a different outlet now.

dark_jedi,

You are one amazing individual!  Thank you for everything you have done with OUT.  The picture quality on these movies is superb.  Not to mention that IT IS THE ORIGINAL UNALTERED TRILOGY!  Enough thanks cannot be expressed.

A big shout out to anyone else who may have helped bring this project to life.  I am loving this community.

Thanks to dark_jedi for the invite.

Doctor M - my bad, I saw the last few pages of the thread and assumed that's how it works.

dark_jedi,

I'm sure you've answered this before (in that case, could you link me to the posts) but did you use different sources for the DVD and BluRay versions that you produced? Thanks.

AH, if you post in the thread that is cool, I totally forgot about all the excitement from the recent Blu-ray Set findings, and I can understand being excited, I have been there myself before, so go ahead and PM, post in thread, it's all good.

I know I said I am going to retire from anything DVD LOL, but I am considering 1 thing, and it really would not be that hard, or take much time, but I may do new encodes for the V3 DVD Set and upload the new video files for those that may want to swap them out, the new encodes will be encoded from the 720p Blu-ray lossless avi file I have, some have shown interest in this so I am thinking about it, plus ANH has a couple of real bad frames fixed, and ESB has a ton of them fixed, so we will see.

dark_jedi, any more thought given to uploading the new encodes? I've got v3 ready to burn, but I don't want to waste the discs if a even better version is coming.

Thanks,

ST

You may as well go ahead and burn them, I am only thinking about doing this, most may not want to, or know how to, swap out the video, plus I am not done yet with ESB, and I may go back and do a few more tweaks on SW and ROTJ, but just not 100% sure yet, so even if I did decide to do it, it is going to be a while before it is done.

I say go for it if it's not too much trouble. :)

Put my v3's in proper cases finally. I opted to use this art because it looks very striking and the spines are all black. I'm proud to have them on my shelf!

All righty, good to know. Hat's off to ABC, the covers are the business.

As much as I want the V3 dvds, I'm waiting on your BDs to pop up or something.  Can't wait...

^ Pardon my ignorance, but are you the Dr. Gonzo, i.e., of the Dr. Gonzo LD preservation?  If so, I just wanted to say thank you--the Dr. G set was the first LD preservation I ever saw and burned to disc.  In fact, my cousins still watch the Dr. G rips as their main OUT set (I haven't gotten around to sharing any of the more recent GOUT-based sets).

lol.  unfortunately, I can't take that claim to fame.  I came along right after his LD preservation was out, and so was he.  I'm just an HST fan who happened to luck into being in a community with a great guy like him.

But I have been on here for many a year, and was a spreader of many a disc, including the Mentor Cap of Song of the South.  If you downloaded that one, you got it from me.

I looked over in the Blu Ray and HD cover thread and couldn't find them .. Dark Jedi do you have a link to either the v3 or blu ray cover arts?
