I'm working on my 11 changes, the problem I'm having at the moment is that my splitscreen doesn't have the humdinger frame at ALL. Can someone grab me the GOUT frame that lacks the Humdinger?

I always thought the new fade was too long, nice to know they fixed it. I wonder if they fixed the other fade too (just before Owen starts yelling for Luke).

The cockpit is 2004 cropped, ie zoomed in. 

Holy crap. Actual work done. I wonder if these are color changes or rotoscopes. We'll have to see what we can deduce.

The sabers in Empire are still crap though. Sad.

Thanks to none's info, I've been flipping back and forth between the two, and since the color of the glows are IDENTICAL, I'm going to say that they rotoscoped brand-new cores onto the existing elements. It helps, but it's still pink.

Mainly, the colour (and brightness) of the rest is the same, so it's definitely not a colour tweak. The over-all picture is still too dark.

Seems like a lot of work when they could have just fixed all of the color issues...

Yeah but those were deliberate changes, remember? It was only the lightsabres that were treated so poorly by DVD colour space, LOL.

Alright, I'm tired of everything being labelled as a "(YEAR Change)". I need better terminology. I'm thinking something like:

YEAR Fix (garbage mattes, etc)
YEAR Addition (brand new scenes, elements)
YEAR Preservation (redone wipes)

What do you think? I think I still need "change", but not sure how to classify everything.

I'm going to need all of those frames for comparisons. A good change for me, the 2004 version just kind of stops for a really long time.
