Personally, I like being able to get rid of my old discs, especially if I'm changing formats.ROFLRICK said:
I think having no material (save for the commentaries) cross over at all is a good thing. I still have all that material, I don't need it to be repeated elsewhere. I do wonder if LFL could have brought the OT deleted scenes to a level of quality that could match current standards.

I'll buy them, but I won't be happy about it. (16%, 172 Votes)
It's this group that gets me. I guess Ady, Jambe, etc who are using it for editing or review purposes would buy it but not be happy, but it reads more like people who are forced to buy the movies.
-_-
However, if those reports turn out to be true and either the new PT deleted scenes are of poor standards or the deleted scenes from the previous DVD release aren't included in this newer BD set, then I'll be cancelling my pre-order with two words for Uncle George.... with the last word being "Off".
I love having a collection of these things, but I definitely get where you're coming from. If all of the previous material were carried over, I imagine that the set's price point would be a little beyond comfortable for your average consumer.
