Yeah yeah, less apology more articulation. That's kind of what I was asking for.

Alright-

I've never cared for Wonder Woman.  I think she does far more damage to the "comics as a respectful story telling medium" than good.

I can sort of appreciate the recent attempts at cleaning up her image (giving her pants and a... lower... neckline) but I think her star spangled bottom is sort of at the heart of her "character".  Well, that's not really fair to say.  Just because I don't care for her as a character and have only ever seen her as superficial window dressing doesn't mean that there aren't people out there somewhere that like her for her "sparkling personality".  I just don't see it personally.

I think cleaning her up sort of makes her unnecessary all around.  Not trashy enough to be eye candy, not interesting enough to be anything else.  I think she's a product of an earlier age and it doesn't surprise me that she hasn't gotten any new media off the ground.

Fair enough, that's what I was looking for. Thank you. I disagree with there being no depth to her character, though - at least her backstory with Themyscara (so sure I spelled that wrong) provides an entryway for further Greek mythology into her stories. Unfortunately, I don't know how they would have handled that in the TV series. I just know that the DC animated movie is the kind of Wonder Woman I'd like to see - assertive, hella strong, and intelligent yet occasionally naive about the outside world's ways.
