Might be feasible to have the Alien Appendix discs as one single Blu-ray instead of a multitude of discs. As a caveat the graphic design would best match the Alien Anthology Blu-rays. I own the UK set.

That could be an interesting idea but as said before on the Evil Dead thread, these are all SD materials, AFAIK, and it's probably best on DVD, so the upconverting players can do their job. Still, some official BDs have SD Bonus Content.

Would be easier since it'd be all on a single disc instead of many DVDs. Would even fit with the Alien Anthology set.
I see what you're trying to do. As far as actually doing it, you could probably use the program MultiAVCHD. It can make Blu-Rays and half-decent custom menus.

MultiAVCHD is a fine program. Then I use IMGur to make a disc image from my projects.
So would you consider doing a project like you suggested with permission from the original Appendix creators? Your familiarity with MultiAVCHD is a good start.

It would strictly be video without any menus. Not having any idea as to how to make menus is a negative on my side. Would be better as a compilation.

If someone does this I still have all of the original files on around 10 DVDS for Alien Redux Workprint (Appendix 2) in DV format. This would be a better source to author a Bluray as the DVD was authored at a lower bit rate to fit.

All they'd need to do is make a Blu-ray disc. keep the same menus but have all the content. Would rather have Alien Redux Workprint in HD compared to SD resolution on another disc.
Could even be two discs with labels and cover art for Blu-ray to go with the ALIEN Anthology.
