There is no way that you can watch A New Hope, even the Specialist Edition, and pretend that it is Vader's story. He's a henchman, plain and simple. In Empire, maybe, but you'd think when the movie splits between the two sets of main characters that Vader would have more to do since it's his story. I think people missunderstand the originals? Because most of the action is directed at Luke they seem to think he is the focus of the three movies. The focus of the originals was Darth Vader from the point of view of Luke, how can he redeem his father and bring back the Jedi he was? - P@t Mtl
