No, I DO understand what anamorphic means and understand what you said. I'm just saying I like to watch the films on DVD with the black bars. I'll put this in simplier terms; when I have a DVD with anamorphic enhancement I choose not to watch it anamorphically enhanced, mostly because i have a SD TV in my room. Still, my mom was watching A Summer Place last night on DVD on our HD TV and we didn't watch it anamorphically enhanced. We saw the film with the 1.78:1 widescreen black bars. My point, you either like anamorphic enhancement or you don't.
