If George changed his mind and released the Originals with a proper HD master (hypothetically speaking, of course), I'll bet you $3,000 the newer fans won't go "AARGH!!! I HATE LUCAS FOR MAKING THE UNALTERED MOVIES AVAILABLE!!!" At worst, they'll just say "Okay, there's your HD Unaltered Trilogy. Now will you please SHUT UP?"

But my fear/worry/?? is that if GL had released the _REAL_ _PURE_ OT on BluRay, the younger generations would have said "What is the big deal?" and "OK, gotcha, this is my father's ice-cream truck" or "You mean Zac Efron isn't in it?" or ...

I don't know whether to weep in despair or disgust.. We need to find ways to show that this (the fantastic work that people like DJ have put in to preserving the OT) _IS_ better than the brain-washing-mind-altering-history-morphing crap that is the current incarnation of the Trilogy.. How?
