Also, forgot that I was wearing a SW shirt at my local arthouse yesterday and one of the employees mentioned that he had just watched ROTJ the night before. We got to talking about the versions because he had admitted that he had watched the "screwed-up one" and hated how it looked really bad. I asked him what he meant by that and he basically said all the stuff about color saturation, brightness, sharpness etc. that supposedly are the wonderful "creative decisions" that none of the general public ever notices.
People still remember the OT. Instead of just putting stickers on the Blu-rays, we should just stand in stores on the release day and hand out copies of the PG to anyone who wants the real SW they remember. If there was ever a title I wish I could just hand out to people on the street-it's that one.
