I like this the best.

My idea for a bumper sticker is it simply says "Save Star Wars" using the '77 logo, with "Save" in matching font at the top.
Have the url to Zombie's site and/or OT.com below it.
This is a GREAT idea for a sticker. Someone make it, NOW!!
Maybe "Save STAR WARS from becoming STAR WAS" would be a fitting catchphrase.
Nice, but without "save" at the top in similar font, it won't be as eye catching.
Where were you in '77?
^ do you have that as a vector (.ils, .eps)?
Anchorhead, it's good, but I have to agree with Silver - It needs the "SAVE"
And maybe just the url for savestarwars.com, as I feel like ot.com is a little less publicly presentable.
And maybe a different font for the url?
EDIT: I forgot to say - Thank you for actually making what is at least a prototype!
Going with Bingowings thought, if 'STAR WAS' was the reverse of 'SAVE STAR WARS' would there be an equivalent image to mirror the Luke/Leia or is that getting too complicated?
If anyone wants stickers/bumper stickers or any kind of stickers, just send me the artwork and I'll print out loads....
My boss is a twat, so anything behind his back is a bonus for me....
Go for it!!!

I did this at work today - you know, on my lunch break ;-) Anyway, the original PSD is on my work machine. I'll have to remote in to my work machine tonight and redo it. I'll be able to re-post it remotely also.

Hey, man - what are trying to say?
;-)
Thanks everybody! Once the stickers are designed, printed out and stuck on our cars (or wherever) it would be great if everyone could post photos of their cars sporting the new stickers. :-)
Here's a version with 'Save', don't have Anchorhead's version for the Luke/Leia SW, but it can be swapped.
(The 'E' is bothering me.)
Ignore the rotation, was trying to blend with the slanted Empire logo, with a rounded border. But wondering if the font should change for the 'STAR WAS...' as the point is it's to be forgotten, but then why have the perspective angle. So throw out ideas for this one.
Are there any non-movie shots of Shaw. Having a hard time converting it to hard b/w: (this is a mess right now)
*EDIT*
ok here's a slightly better version.

This first one of yours looks much better than what did. Simple and to the point.
I tweaked the word Save a touch.
I think we should apply your idea to the more well known logo and see how it looks. That would be instantly recognizable to everyone and possibly be a better attention getter. I'll mess around with it.
I like it! People can print that out themselves, and put it in the rear window too. :)
I think Starlog might have had a nice photo of Shaw in costume where he's not ectoplasm back when they interviewed him. Or are you looking for a non Jedi shot?
Where were you in '77?
Something like this maybe.
This is my favorite. Thanks None & Anchorhead! The black & yellow one is great too, but the one above just screams awesome. Now how do we get stickers of this? I've heard of a place called cafepress.com. playing with their custom sticker maker right now but can't figure out how to copy & paste this image into it...
nm. I figure it out...

I think this one will "read" more easily under all sorts of lighting and distance as well.
Now then, how about some t-shirts? ;)
Where were you in '77?
It's perfect. And I think you can buy sticker paper for your printer.
While I'm not sure about the whole vandalism aspect, I certainly would love to have a shirt or stickers or fliers with this on it.
I could distribute them all around the ASU campus!
Keep Circulating the Tapes.

You need to put the serif or whatever it's called in the S like it is in Wars. Otherwise it looks just like I imagined, nicely done.
And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.
That's called a spur - and good catch, by the way. Looks better.
For the record, this is all None's baby. All I did was a small tweak. To me, the part that makes the whole thing work is the lack of forced perspective on the COM. That really makes the fact that the logo is a web address stand out. Simple, but very effective for what we're trying to accomplish.
Also, I really like that this points to a very well done web site. A web site now referenced in blogs by respected film critics and home video reviewers. Not some nerd site that looks like an old Geocities mess with a bunch of pictures of toys and anti-Lucas rants.
When they get to Kaminski's site they'll find an intelligent, well-written series of articles and exposes detailing the history of the film, its suppression, and Lucas' continually changing series of lies about all of it. A site backed up with facts and examples, run by a published author who is an expert on all things Star Wars.
It's this intelligent approach, based on education, that holds any hope of ever getting a proper release of the original films.
IMPORTANT NOTE: you're going to want a much higher resolution file than that for physical printing.
But seriously guys, that looks amazing.
