Oh it was restored at 2K? That's good news. I thought Lucas had limited it to 1080p like Episode II and III.
2K (usually 2048 × 1556) isn't THAT much more than 1080p (which is 1920x1080). 4K would've been much more sensible...
Edit: Strangely The History of Star Wars quotes sources that say it was only scanned at 1080p.
