The bonus features show that Lucas filmed everything with two cameras, the alternate angle probably comes from the other camera. They literally took the B Roll and put it in Return of the Jedi.

I don't know if any of you know about this site, but it has some Blu-ray clips (although in small res).

Anyway, this shot for example, shows Tantive IV with its original white corridors. This set is looking more and more interesting to me, specially with the latest news that had been surfacing.

Do you guys think it's possible that Lowry re-did their color-correction for this? After all I'd assume they have the unaltered files in their archives, and a non-destructive filter chain for at least some of their "corrections"...

Now, tell me that I wasn't right, when I said that Ady's work influenced Lucasfilm. Check this clip and look on Vader's eyes:

Yes, they are black.

Sadly, this confirms that those clips are took from BD. Why is it sad? Well, I checked all pictures from OT SE and sadly, color timing is almost unchanged from 2004 DVDs and lightsabres (except for ROTJ crossed sabers) are not fixed.

So, thank you Lucasfilm again for this "countless" hours spend on BDs. I bet the green saber on the Falcon is still the same (maybe it is yellow this time?).

I wouldn't say that. How many saber shots do we see on the site? Not many, and as far as colour timing goes, there is a clear difference from the 2004 versions. Unfortunately, TESB duel is missing (since it's one of the most serious cases regarding lightsabers).

I asked the shtv forum member who worked on the 04 transfers about the OCN:

2K (usually 2048 × 1556) isn't THAT much more than 1080p (which is 1920x1080). 4K would've been much more sensible...

Edit: Strangely The History of Star Wars quotes sources that say it was only scanned at 1080p.
